As the captain of a polar exploration ship, you must lead your crew on a treacherous journey through the unforgiving frozen wasteland in search of answers about what happened to The Viscount. Who is that you might ask? Not who, but what. Another exploration ship, sister to your very own Temperance, which disappeared without a trace.
You didn’t ask to lead this expedition, but here you are. Stuck in the ice, Captain missing, miles from civilization. Someone has to take charge. Manage your meager resources, balance safety and morale, make the hard calls, and head in the only direction you can — through The Pale Beyond.
