Portobugia is entering early access on Steam on the 23rd of November. This is an indie game where you take on the role of a port captain and it’s your job to make sure the city survives. Developed and self-published by Bogland Studio.

The premise is simple, you must manage an eastern European port where chaos is running havoc after the war. No one is running the city. Diseases and infections are a huge problem! As the harbourmaster, you need to inspect ships and decide on whether to send them away, lose any goods or food they might have, or let them dock to supply the town. The faith of the population lies in your hands.

There is a TLDR review at the bottom if you just want to get the short version of it. There’s also the video review with some gameplay action if you’re looking for a more interactive medium.

Inspecting ships

The core gameplay is fun! It feels nice to have the pressure of inspecting and looking at ship reports to make sure everything is correct.
