Review: Against the Storm — A dystopian city building survival video game
Developed by Eremite Games and published by Hooded Horse, this game is qualified enough for you to spend hours glued to the screen. If you’ve just heard this indie publisher’s name for the first time, I highly recommend you go see their other games. I’m sure you’ll find amazing hidden gems for you to take for a spin.

What is Against the Storm?
In Against the Storm you take on the role of a viceroy for the Queen, or in other words, you are the queen’s representative. You get sent out exploring the world around the Smoldering City, the last bastion of hope and the only place safe from the Blightstorm.
At its core, it is a roguelike survival city builder. There are two very different gameplay loops involved: The first is the greater map where you plan your expeditions and the second one is the expedition itself. The map will contain a cycle until a Blighstorm occurs. You have to try and establish settlements in order to complete a cycle.
